Difference between offer, order and invoice
Three documents, three different legal roles. Anyone who mixes them up regularly ends up in a dispute over scope and payment.
Angebot
Offer: description of the services, quantities and prices. As long as the client has not accepted it, there is no obligation to perform.
Order
Order: the accepted offer or a separate contract. It sets the original scope of services against which additional services are later compared.
Rechnung
Invoice: request for payment for services performed, with the mandatory information under § 14 UStG and reference to the contract and quantities.
How it works in BauWalker
BauWalker links the offer, order and invoices of a construction project so that deviations in quantities are immediately visible.
