GDPR/DSGVO when using AI in a construction company
Contracts, site addresses, customer names and correspondence are personal and commercially sensitive data. The question is therefore not "May we use AI?" but "Under what conditions?".
What you should pay attention to
These are starting points for the conversation with your lawyer or data protection officer.
- where the data is processed and in which country the servers are located
- whether a DPA (AVV, Auftragsverarbeitungsvertrag) has been concluded
- whether your data is used to train public models
- how employee access is separated
- whether actions are logged
- how and within what periods data is deleted
Important
You should view statements like "100% secure" critically. A meaningful answer describes the configuration and its exceptions.
