Knowledge
What must a Bautagesbericht contain?
The Bautagesbericht records daily what happened on the construction site. It is the most important working document when you later have to prove a fact or a deadline.
Usual content
The wording depends on the contract, but the details are usually similar.
- Date, weather, working hours
- who was on site and in what staffing
- which work was carried out in which area
- Material deliveries and equipment
- Obstructions, stoppages and instructions from the client
- special incidents and deviations from the plan
Why this matters
After a few months, the conversation about additional services or delays rests not on memory but on records. The more precise the documentation, the fewer disputed points.
How it works in BauWalker
Bautagesberichte are stored in the context of the construction project. This way you can later ask what happened on the site in a particular period.
This material is for information and is not legal or tax advice. The specific consequences depend on your contract and the circumstances on the construction site.
